Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, Tor has always had a passion for creating things with whatever she can lay her hands on.

She recently graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Design Innovation focusing in Industrial Design. She is now in the process of completing her Masters, blending the world of design, technology and film.

Tor's research specialises in how we can use emerging multi-material 3D printing technologies to achieve things only special effects could before. Using this technology, she hopes to bridge between traditional digital and practical effects, ultimately creating a new tool for use in film production.
